Join us to explore the burden of periodontal disease, analyse the barriers in treating it and to understand the rationale and the practical implementation of the 2018 classification and the S3-Level guidelines. How important is behaviour change and how can we make periodontal treatment work in the NHS?
Learning objectives
- Understand the magnitude of the periodontal disease burden at a global level
- Explore how the classification system can be implemented rapidly in practice
- Discuss how the S3-level guideline process works and key outcomes
- Explore how to implement the steps of care in a challenging funding environment
