Dr. Stuart Garton BDS
Dr. Stuart Garton graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2008 after winning several academic and clinical prizes at Undergraduate level. These include the Thomas H Bickerton Prize in Anatomy and Physiology, the Dental Alumni Association Prize and the 3M Unitek Prize in Orthodontics. Since qualification, Stuart has worked as a General Dental Practitioner in Liverpool developing a particular interest in Restorative and Implant Dentistry.
Stuart’s commitment to further study has led him to undertake extensive Postgraduate Training which has led to him achieving the prestigious accolade of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Having a strong interest in Restorative Dentistry and a desire to restore teeth to their normal function where possible, Stuart has gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Implantology from the University of Salford and a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In addition, Stuart’s interest in Implant Dentistry and the desire to deepen his knowledge within this area, he has embarked on a Masters Degree in Implantology through the University of Salford.
Stuart is proud to use his own knowledge and skills to help with the training of newly qualified Dentists as an Educational Supervisor. And as such has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Clinical Practice with Edge Hill University. Delighted to be awarded the title of Educational Supervisor of the Year 2018/2019 for the Northwest Region, Dr. Stuart Garton has also used his skills to help train undergraduate Dentists as a Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool Dental School.
Stuart is a member of the Liverpool Local Dental Committee, as part of his duties Dr. Stuart Garton takes an active role in improving dental services across his local region.
